This high precision linear rail is based on the Open Source C-Beam Linear Rail by OpenBuilds. This C shaped profile is based on the V-Slot linear guide system. It is considered to be a 40mmx80mm profile and all our standard V-Slot parts and accessories are compatible.

Since 4080 C-Beam is a product of the V-Slot line, all standard V-Slot parts and accessories are compatible. Like other V-Slot, every side of C-Beam 4080 can be used as a linear guide.

Made from 6063 T-5 Aluminium the profile has an extremely smooth linear v groove rail on all 4 sides. It is precise, easy to work with and can be incorporated in many different designs and builds.
