Make your UV prints stick and last with UV primer and adhesion promoter from Neotronics SA. Our Smooth, non-porous surfaces, like glass, metal, and some plastics, can stop UV ink from bonding properly. The result can be peeling, chipping, or prints that scratch off. A thin coat of primer before printing creates a surface the ink grips firmly, giving you durable, professional results. Lasting long.
When to use a primer
Primer is recommended when printing directly onto:
- Glass: bottles, mirrors, candle jars, awards and trophies
- Metal: stainless steel tumblers, aluminium plates, business cards and tags
- Acrylic and Perspex: signage, keyrings and display stands
- Smooth plastics: phone cases, pens and promotional items
- Ceramic and glazed tiles: mugs and décor pieces
Porous materials like wood, leather and MDF usually don't need primer. UV DTF stickers printed on AB film don't need it either.
