Typically Slats are used for supporting materials to reduce unexpected movement during processing and enhancing cutting precision, an also ensures accuracy. it's advised to arrange slats as densely as possible. Practically, they're the raised teeth-edged bars your sheet metal rests on inside the machine bed — similar in concept to the honeycomb or slat bed on a laser cutter, but built to handle metal.
